The 'Playponics' project, funded through Sheffield Hallam University's Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), is a set of equipment that combines STEM education, physical activity, horticulture and promotes environmental sustainability.

MICRO BIOGAS

Micro Biogas is a sister project to Playponics. It is funded through Sheffield Hallam University's Global Challenges Research Fund. The project aims to develop biogas plants that have detachable/portable components that are convenient to use.

Our aim is to deploy working prototypes in a village in Uttar Pradesh, India by December 2020.

STAKEHOLDER WORKSHOP WITH PEOPLE LIVING WITH ALS/MND, MUMBAI

This stakeholder workshop was conducted at Neurogen Institute in Mumbai, by the Lab4Living in collaboration with the Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay and supported by Asha Ek Hope Foundation. The objective was to gain insight about the issues faced by and the needs of the people suffering from ALS/MND so as to be able to design 'frugal' assistive technology that is inclusive and has a wide reach.
